We will visit the magnificent and mystical stone circle of <strong>Stonehenge<\/strong>, with over 5,000 years of history. It is one of the world\u2019s great wonders and has fascinated visitors for centuries. Located in the heart of Salisbury Plain, it features a mysterious landscape dotted with burial mounds and prehistoric carvings and is now a <strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Our next stop will be <strong>Salisbury<\/strong>, a charming medieval city in Wiltshire, England, famous for its impressive <strong>Salisbury Cathedral<\/strong>, home to the tallest spire in the country and one of the four original copies of the <strong>Magna Carta<\/strong>. Free time for lunch.<\/p><p>We will end the day in <strong>Bath<\/strong>, stopping at <strong>Royal Crescent<\/strong>, followed by a walking tour of the city, including <strong>Pulteney Bridge<\/strong>, a three-arch Georgian bridge crossing the River Avon and offering some of the best views of the city, <strong>Bath Abbey<\/strong>, a striking 16th-century church with an impressive Gothic fa\u00e7ade, and of course the <strong>Roman Baths<\/strong>.<br \/>Free time afterward to explore Bath at your own pace.<br \/>Overnight with breakfast at <strong>Hampton by Hilton Bath Hotel<\/strong> or similar.<\/p><h3>DAY 3: BATH \u2013 OXFORD \u2013 COTSWOLDS \u2013 STRATFORD-UPON-AVON<\/h3><p>After breakfast, we head to <strong>Oxford<\/strong>, a city steeped in centuries of academic history. We will enjoy a walking tour through the historic center, exploring its iconic colleges, libraries, and university buildings. The <strong>University of Oxford<\/strong> has educated some of history\u2019s most influential thinkers, from <strong>Stephen Hawking<\/strong> to <strong>Oscar Wilde<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Highlights include the <strong>Bodleian Library<\/strong>, a true temple of knowledge, and strolls through streets that have inspired generations of students and writers.<\/p><p>After lunch, we will travel through the picturesque <strong>Cotswolds<\/strong> region to <strong>Stratford-upon-Avon<\/strong>, the birthplace of <strong>William Shakespeare<\/strong>. Its charming historic center and Shakespeare\u2019s birthplace transport visitors back in time. Free afternoon to explore and enjoy local cuisine.<br \/>Overnight with breakfast at <strong>Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel<\/strong> or similar.<\/p><h3>DAY 4: STRATFORD-UPON-AVON \u2013 CHESTER \u2013 LIVERPOOL<\/h3><p>Breakfast. From Stratford-upon-Avon, we travel to <strong>Chester<\/strong>, founded in 79 AD as the Roman fortress <strong>Deva<\/strong>. Its medieval walls, which still surround the old town, are the most complete in Great Britain. The city is also famous for the <strong>Chester Rows<\/strong>, unique two-level medieval shopping galleries. Free time for lunch.<\/p><p>We then continue to <strong>Liverpool<\/strong>, where we explore its vibrant musical heritage and maritime history. A visit to <strong>The Beatles Story Museum<\/strong> (entrance included) offers an incredible journey through the history of the world\u2019s most famous band. Enjoy time at <strong>Albert Dock<\/strong>, and in the evening, experience the legendary <strong>Cavern Club<\/strong>, where The Beatles began their career.<br \/>Overnight with breakfast at <strong>Heeton Concept Hotel \u2013 City Centre Liverpool<\/strong> or similar.<\/p><h3>DAY 5: LIVERPOOL \u2013 YORK<\/h3><p>After breakfast, we leave Liverpool for the historic elegance of <strong>York<\/strong>. Founded by the Romans in 71 AD, later conquered by the Vikings in the 9th century, and eventually becoming a fortified medieval city, York retains its historic charm with its stunning Gothic cathedral, one of the most magnificent in Europe.<\/p><p>Medieval walls still surround the old town, offering a fascinating walk through history. We will enjoy a walking tour of the historic center, including <strong>York Minster<\/strong>, followed by free time to explore York\u2019s charming caf\u00e9s and centuries-old shops.<\/p><p>One of the most iconic spots is <strong>The Shambles<\/strong>, a medieval street lined with timber-framed buildings that look straight out of a fairytale. It is said to have inspired <strong>Diagon Alley<\/strong> in the Harry Potter films. Founded in 1209, it has been home to some of the most influential minds in history, including <strong>Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Charles Darwin<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Its academic legacy is evident throughout the city, from prestigious colleges to historic libraries such as the <strong>Cambridge University Library<\/strong>, which houses millions of volumes and manuscripts. Cambridge also played a key role in the development of modern computing, with figures like <strong>Alan Turing<\/strong>, who studied at <strong>King\u2019s College<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Highlights include the <strong>Bridge of Sighs<\/strong>, a beautiful covered bridge connecting two buildings of St John\u2019s College. After exploring Cambridge and comparing it to Oxford\u2014two of the world\u2019s most prestigious universities\u2014we return to London.<br \/>Overnight with breakfast at <strong>President Hotel, Royal National<\/strong>, or similar.<\/p><h3>DAY 7: LONDON<\/h3><p>In the morning, we will enjoy a panoramic coach tour of London, visiting <strong>Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair, and Belgravia<\/strong>.
